About Us

Adelaide Tuition Centre was established in 1980 by Greg Eather.
Our aim was to provide the highest quality tuition to students in their home or at the Centre. We introduced a crucial ingredient for student success: development of study skills and motivation.

Private Tuition caters for students year 3 to Tertiary in all subject areas.

In 1986 we introduced the concept of Holiday Seminars to South Australia. The aim was to save student revision time while revising all key aspects of the syllabus and extending student knowledge in Terms 1, 2 and 3 holidays. We kept the emphasis on individual help by drastically limiting group sizes.

During the early 1990's we published our first workbooks in the 'Essentials' series. It was clear that students could save further time and energy if the syllabus could be summarised for them. Special model exercises were included to consolidate and extend student knowledge, doubling the effect of their revision throughout the year.

In the mid - 1990's our special Exam packs were introduced for a closer focus on the final run up to exams. We now have over 34 publications, including 11 'Key Ideas' textbooks.

The fourth function of the Centre is Greg Eather's 'Learning Dynamics' program of essential study skills and motivational strategy. The seminar is presented to students from Year 8 - 12 in city and country schools in SA and Nationally.
